I’m back!

February 12, 2008

Well, i took 2 months off…

The first month passed quickly, I went back home, had an awesome vacation, spent a lot of time with my family and friends. I went to the beach (beautiful Cancun) and to a wedding in Monterrey, it was a pretty busy winter, and I had so much fun.

I spent the second month moving back to North Carolina, it felt like it was years since I’ve been here, even though I only spent 6 months in California. I got a car (and oh, getting all the requirements was so complicated, I will talk about that later).

Anyway, here I am back to posting!

Delta United to Merge?

November 19, 2007

As seen on CNN, not really technology related but still something that shocks me! I really like Delta and I cannot imagine United sucking more than it already does, so it may mean that now my favorite airline will have bad service and extremely oversold tickets. I am clearly being totally subjective and biased, but I have had very bad luck with them (enough as not to care to spend some more money just to not fly with them).

It may actually be a good thing if they have both airlines coverage and flights may actually get cheaper and more hop options than Atlanta… anyway this is stil just a possibility, nothing official here.

Feeling sick…

November 19, 2007

I felt a bit ill during the weekend, sore throat, mild fever… didn’t feel like posting.

I will post a few updates tonight on the rest of the Xen Summit, a little bit more about android and some other random stuff I found interesting during the weekend.

Welcome to my blog!

November 5, 2007

So this is my third attempt at starting a blog… I will be committed to it this time. I am planning on talking about random techy/geeky stuff such as gadgets, videogames, mobile technology, software engineering, HD, comics, manga, but I may as well post whatever random event I consider interesting.

I am currently working as an intern at Nokia and I am a PhD student at Duke, and whatever I post here doesn’t reflect the views of either of those (yeah… disclaimer stuff)

Soon this will be moved to my own site and domain, but I would rather get started now than to use the unavailability of my domain as an excuse.
